$200,000 Packet of Tim Tams

I’m sitting back in Brisbane airport, waiting for my departure to head back to Perth, Western Australia.

It has a sense of de ja vu, as it was almost sixteen weeks ago that I sat in the international lounge, trembling with nerves as I took action on an idea, inspired by a magazine article.

The article I read was about Kyle McDonald’s “One Red Paperclip” story, a Canadian who in 2005/2006 traded up one single red paperclip for items “bigger and better” until he reached his goal for a house. He was successful, and 14 trades and one year from beginning his journey in North America, he held the keys to his new home in Canada.

The power of an idea!

I felt inspired because it was January 3rd 2011 when I read this story. It was only four days earlier, on New Year’s Eve, that I made the commitment to travel forward in 2011 with an adventurous way to teach “Lifestyle Design Principles” and how to create the life of your dreams using ‘out-of-the-box’ thinking.

For the last three years I have been enjoying my time to myself (and mostly traveling the world), as I’ve created a lifestyle of freedom with passive income streams and living my life on my terms. All based on these principles.

Kyle McDonald’s strategy was perfect. I wanted to do it. But on a global level.

I started the “Global Trading Game” in January (after reading an article on his story) – beginning my journey in Australia with a $3.75 packet of Tim Tams bought at the airport. I’ve since traveled around the world, and traded now in 5 different countries, with Trade 6 recently exchanged for a $46,994 “Wealth Creation” Package.

My end goal is to trade up for a position on Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic plane to experience sub-orbital space, as well as collectively raising US$1,000,000 for Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin Unite charity.

A seat on Virgin Galactic has the value of $200,000. That’s my goal. I’m 25% of the way there, and achieved in as short a time as 15 weeks! I’m constantly in awe, and marvelling at the success of how quickly this game has evolved, and now is almost running on it’s own!
