Here is Amazing Story about how a young man, Kane Foley (with a wife and three young kids), went from working 70 – 80 hours a week as a carpenter, to having lifestyle freedom within 6 months of trading the markets! I met Kane recently, when I caught up with Aussie Rob (Trader 6 – the $47,000 “Wealth Creation” Package) for dinner during his latest trip to Perth, WA.

So we agreed to catch up again just last week, where I met up with him at a cafe local to his home. I arrived first, to watch this humble yet energetic man cruise into the parking lot on his Harley Davidson, cool as a cucumber… with ‘ease and flow’ oozing from his presence. Kane: …”When I first met Aussie Rob, I was a “Chippie” [carpenter]… working hard, long hours, maybe 70 – 80 hours a week. And, I was looking to get into share trading. And so that led me along to a particular seminar, that was run here in Perth. And I… [pause and chuckle] …this guy in a hat, named Aussie Rob got up on the stage, and I must say I was like “who’s this bloke!” or “what’s he doing here at this wealth creation seminar!”… and yeah, um, ah, it’s amazing to look back at what I first thought of “Aussie” and to know him now, and what he’s achieved and the amazing education he’s provided for so many people, including myself…

So anyway, he got up on stage, and he showed this “Lifestyle Trader” product and it um, wasn’t just share-trading, but they were teaching how to do trade foreign exchange, and commodities and it appealed to me so…  I thought “oh well, I’m a chippie [carpenter] at the moment, at this stage, but I’d like to do some trading on the side.”

So I invested in his education package, and I began to paper-trade or simulate-trade, as they call it, and they teach everyone to do that. And eventually 3 months down the track, I was live-trading. And, then 6 months down the track I was, I had my live-trade account to a position where I was at, for the first time ever, I had the choice of “Do I want to go to work today or not?!”…

I had a fantastic run in the markets, and I did everything they taught me to do, and um… followed the rules, followed the system… and within six months I was able to decide [no longer needed to go to work]… and so what I did, I said to my family, my wife and kids, “I’m going to take a month off work! And just rewards us, and spend some time away and have some holidays.”

…. “That was 3 1/2 years ago….and I haven’t been back to work yet!”………

Katie: “How much time did you put into the trading on a weekly or monthly basis?”

Kane: “Well now, I’ve done it for quite some time now, so I’ve got my disciplines and skill-set quite down pat so I will probably spend between 20 and 30 minutes each morning after the update, just placing and adjusting my trades, so not long.

In the early days, I… to learn the skill, ah, like I said I was a carpenter, ah I hadn’t ever bought or sold a share. I didn’t know what foreign exchange was. I was very naive to everything in the markets. All I knew was how to build stuff, and renovate homes and so I was naive to the markets. So, at the start I spent probably an hour to an hour and a half a day for the first few months…. so it wasn’t much of an investment of time for what it has given to me, and my family. It’s incredible!”
